With a strong, biblical emphasis on homes and the sanctity of marriage, Parsippany Baptist Church hosts an annual retreat for couples.

The Homebuilder's Retreat has become an annual tradition for both young and mature married couples in our church. The retreats begin on a Friday evening with dinner, after which we attended one of three seminars given by Pastor Brown. The highlight of the evening has been the campfire where we spend time singing and giving testimonies on how the Lord has been working in our lives. After Saturday morning breakfast, we begin with a devotional by the river, and two more sessions followed by afternoon lunch and free-time actives. The topics have centered on strengthening our homes through practical living based on God's Word. It's a great opportunity to get away with your spouse, as well as other couples who have the same desire to have Christ-centered homes.

Couples enjoy timely and much-needed Bible studies and seminars on the home, campfire testimonies and singing, fine food and great fellowship. There is a cost which varies but in previous years has generally ranged from about $130 to $165 per couple.
