Parsippany Baptist Church was founded in April of 1965 under the ministry of Pastor Jack Keep. Pastor Keep had a great burden to reach northern New Jersey with the Gospel. The church began with a small group of believers and grew quickly. Soon, a Christian school was added that would go on to assist parents in teaching their children in a Biblical worldview through 2019.
God's blessing on the church was evident. Over the course of more than 50 years, Parsippany Baptist Church became known for a strong stand on the truth of the Bible. Solid Bible preaching and teaching became hallmarks of the ministry under the pastoral leadership of Pastor Keep, Dr. David Nettleton, Dr. L. Duane Brown and Dr. Alan Brown. After 25 years of faithful ministry at PBC, Pastor Alan retired in 2022.
In July of 2023, Pastor Jeff Briden accepted the call of God and our church to become senior pastor, after having served as assistant pastor since 1988. Parsippany Baptist Church remains committed to the sole authority of the Bible for all matters of our faith and our daily living.
